The cost for my Independent Midwifery services are $4000 inclusive.  For travel that extends to over 1 hour journey from my home then fees are $4500 to cover fuel costs.
 
I have an installment plan available, please contact me for more information.

Medicare Schedule Fee is paid if your family has reached the Medicare Safety Net threshold of $399.60
 
Medicare Benefit is paid to families who have not reached the Medicare Safety Net threshold

Women may be able to claim the cost of midwifery services through the Net Medical Expenses Tax Off-set.  You may claim 20% the cost of services after $1,500 has been spent.  Please contact your accountant for further advice on your individual situation.
 
In addition, costs of private midwifery services can be claimed through certain private health insurance funds.  Health funds will pay anywhere from a few hundred dollars up to several thousand dollars - please check with your private health fund for more information.
