Exciting News!! As a family we are relocating to Orange where as well as taking on homebirths I will be working at the fantastic Murundhu Dharaa, an independent birthing centre in Orange. This wonderful birthing centre allows women to access a midwifery continuity of care midwife (the same midwife throughout pregnancy, birthing and postnatal care) and the ability to birth in a stand alone unit with gorgeous, spacious birthing rooms with very roomy baths facilitating water birth. Come on in and have a look, remember to ask for me and I will give you a tour!!! Hello all, I am back from the Expo now and it was huge! I really enjoyed hanging out in the Pregnancy Lounge and chatting about birth stories, pregnancy, breastfeeding and more with women, men, grandparents and children. I got to let lots of people know about the benefits of having an independent midwife and what the new medicare changes mean. Thank you to all the people that shared their stories with me, I hope to talk again soon. I also really enjoyed chatting to the other exhibitors around, the birth afloat team, the happy mums happy bubs dvd team, all the ergo team and of course my fellow counsellors on the ABA stand to name a few! Here is a pic of the pregnancy lounge Next weekend it is ABA conference time, woohoo!! Biggest thanks goes to my family, my husband kept the fort and was wonderful at it xx |

Hello everyone, Sorry it has been such a long time. I have some exciting news, later this month I will be at the huge Pregnancy, birth and parenting expo at sydney, have a look at the link here. I will have handouts of the services I provide from massage to independent midwifery and I will also have all three aromatherapy products together at a special expo price!!! I am really looking forward to this, a chance to meet lots of women and their families and tell them about the new medicare changes and promote homebirth. Hello there! I have been on a serious organisational mission today, I have packed 7 people's stuff for a holiday to the Gold Coast and we are off tomorrow!! This will be our first family holiday where we have gone by airplane and the kids are very excited, my littlest girl keeps saying we are going on a "really big airplane"! So, we are away for a few days, tomorrow through to wednesday. I will have access to emails and my mobile so just in case I am available!! See you soon! Love Hazel xxx |

Hello there, Very Exciting news!!! My new Aromatherapy range is now available. There is the beautiful birthing spray, the massage blend for labour and a pregnancy massage blend. Have a look at the Aromatherapy page. If you are a client you get 10% off the price, contact me directly if you would like some! I was at a wonderful homebirth thursday/friday and the birthing mist was used lots, it was used to spray onto the cold facewashers which cooled down the woman's face and neck, directly onto the face when asked and onto towels draped over the birthing pool where she rested her head. It is such a gorgeous aroma and a great way to get refreshed. The massage blend for labour was used aswell, a great help for early labour, especially on the shoulders / back and on the feet. Hello again, I think you might be right Donna, very addictive!!! Today I have had fun with good friend and doula Jacquie Harsh after an ABA group helpers meeting with my new Rebozo! We watched the DVD and practiced the moves on each other with the wrap. I'm all set now! One beautiful and colourful Rebozo added to my kit! Hello all, I admit, I have never done a blog before so this is a journey for me! I am very excited, i will be releasing my aromatherapy range very, very soon, hopefully by the end of the week. This is so exciting, in between my own pregnancies, working and general business I have not had a chance to get this going but now I have!! There will be 3 products to choose from and also a pack with all of them, keep watching for the big release!!!
